Goergeous image. I love the color palette and use of dotty texture.
As for Sid&Nancy story ... hm, maybe how she made him to leave Sex Pistols and start solo career. Or maybe some scenario how she tried to get Jonny Rotten first... or maybe how she met Sid's mother. Lol, I don't know there is lot in this story, it's controversial as hell :}
His love/hate friendship with Johnny and how he must have felt when John just dismissed him after a certain point always really interested me. C: On one hand we have a dumb trend follower, a kicked puppy type of person and on the other hand an angry, opinionated bloke who was at least some what of an intellectual.
Anyways what irrelevent, this is really gorgeous <3 I love everything about this, especially the sort of brush stroke line work going on, the colouring and the letters.
And now, the end is near And so I face the final curtain You cunt, I´m not a queer I´ll state my case, of which I´m certain I´ve lived a life that´s full I've traveled each and every highway And more, much more than this I did it my way
sorry for spamming ..hh
she was certainly very strange person, but heck they were just made for each other, no matter how sad it all ended .... that´s the thing called fate XD
Yes, I was following some documentaries, with testimonies of his mother and girlfriend of that time (day), given years after his death. Pretty pathetic, dude was so lost he seriously had no idea whether he had killed Nancy or not :/
Hm. This is a pretty awesome question. The general view in Japan that Sid/Nancy was a dark romance story, love to the point of killing her and then committing suicide (innocent romanticists...) Kyo is probably perceiving the story through his culture. On one hand, the love story seems to appeal to him, but then again he is scornful when it comes to Sid's idol-like state. So I guess even though it generally seems to intrigue him, Kyo's PoV is mostly sarcasm towards the sanctifying of a moderate singer, and the overuse of his name, just because of his lifestyle. ...these, I think ^^
In my personal opinion kyo was really into sid to some point ( like he wear same locket, no future, god kill the the queen and so on) but I guess now when he's 30 he kinda can look on this all from distance- and in hydra 666 he states 'I'm not sid' (And now I remembered that first hydra lyrics are kinda mocking punk)
I would agree that kyo is aware of sanctification of sid, but I wonder if he is aware of status that he have in his own fandom (I heard more than few times that kyo is god) and he himself use the name of 'rophet' while admitting that 'uroboros' is esoteric and he wanted to achieve that effect since 'macabre'...
And it's really hard to not look at sid and nancy as on dark romance story, even when you know they were stupid brats. They are just too wicked.
